US Peanut Market Price Insights February 2022 Week 7

Peanut prices across the United States have been down by 0.3 cents, compared to the previous weeks. For all farm stock peanuts, farmers received an average of 24 cents per pound for the week.

The total sales of all farmer stock peanuts have totaled about 79.6 million pounds so far in the previous week, down by 3.82 million pounds from the past few weeks alone.

Overall, the market sees a downfall in terms of sales and purchases and with prices falling, it is hard to see what will happen next. The domestic peanut market in the US can go down this time of the year.

Runner-type peanuts have been priced at 23.9 cents per pound which haven't changed from the previous week. Total sales so far have been 78.9 million pounds.
