Peanut Market Update January 2022 Week 1

So far, from the North American front, we've got news of a good crop. The harvest is coming along well, and it is expected that the 2022 crop will be quite good.

Similarly, there's been great weather reports from the Cordoba province as well. Overall, across all major peanut growing regions, the weather has been reported as really hot, which is perfect for the maturity of peanuts. However, this also means that the plants will need more water and/or rain.

The good news is, rains have been good in Cordoba and Buenos Aires provinces, particularly north Cordoba. Of course, we will need to see the next few months to see how the rain progresses.
