Pecan Market Update January 2022 Week 1

Pecan Market Update January 2022 Week 1

The pecan market is largely undergoing something of an off-season. So, markets in Argentina, South Africa, Brazil, Australia and others are all closed. According to several Mexican pecan growers, you need to expect a small harvest volume this year.

Based on this, the prices of raw in-shell pecan prices have increased, and this has led to kernel sales to be at higher rates as well. Around 12.8 CFR are expected for main European ports.

At present, the Argentinian stock for 2021 is no longer available, and some suppliers are providing Brazilian variants only at around 12-12.5 USD Kg CFR.
