Pumpkin Seeds Market Update April 2022 Week 13

There are concerns about the availability of pumpkin seeds due to the Ukraine war. While these concerns have not been established into facts on the ground, the market is at a standstill. As more information flows, clarity will follow. 

While availability is one of the concerns, lately, we have seen a decrease in freight rates. 

Usually, this follows a decline in prices. Still, with the ongoing situation regarding availability (supply) and demand, it will be interesting to see where the market goes from here on. 

Currently, the raw material is priced between 16.8-17RMB/KG.
