We have received quite a lot of information about the SHINE SKIN and SNOW WHITE pumpkin seeds variety. Here's what you need to know about them this week.
Shine Skin Variety
China has about 70,000 tonnes of shine skin pumpkin seeds in in-shells. Speculators have over 50,000 tonnes while 20,000 tonnes are being processed by factories and merchants.
As you know, the planting season for this variety is approaching, and as usual, the market price and selling time will be influenced by the amount planted this season.
It is worth noting that the market prices have decreased during the past two weeks. Right now, the price is the same as last season. Many factories and merchants are facing a loss since it may be nearly more than what they can endure. Generally, it has been perceived that if the price continues at the rate it is, they will not sell anymore. So, it may be quite difficult to buy raw materials in the market. It is predicted that the price will stop decreasing soon as the demand in the international market is quite good.
2. Snow White Variety
Snow white pumpkin seeds, on the other hand, are quite limited in stock now. The estimated stocks in China are about 40 tonnes of 9cm, 200 tonnes of 11 cm, and 1,000 tonnes of 13cm seeds.
As you know, April is the month for trading snow white pumpkin seeds. International markets start purchasing slowly. While prices are stable at the moment, prices are bound to increase since the small stock will be sold out before the new crop arrives.
