Walnut Market Update April 2022 Week 17

We've received news that the export quantity and international demand for walnuts will increase this month. Generally, farmers and factories prefer selling their stocks before mid-May. Since the temperature is higher, the walnuts will have to be put into reefer warehouses, which may lead to extra costs being incurred.

The price of walnut kernels of Chinese origins has been very low for a while now. Farmers and factories aren't making any profits, and some are even experiencing a loss. Still, they prefer to clear inventories before the hot season. We'll let you know as we get more information.
